Location: Scottsdale, AZ - Onsite

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Provide support for all client end users onsite and remote on both hardware and software including the operating system, office applications, various customer applications, printers, etc.
• Provide timely resolutions of system and/or application problems and follow through to completion.
• Assist in managing day-to-day IT initiatives.
• Onboard new clients according to standard procedures, documenting the clients’ infrastructure for review and use by all engineering team members.
• Assist in documentation and training to enhance client experience.
• Install, configure, and maintain network elements, computer systems and other related equipment.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES

• Complete monthly assessment on assigned clients.
• Document daily work through ConnectWise ticketing system.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with team.
• Provide desk engineer services up to two days a week.
• Support and assist assigned desk engineer on tickets and calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Experience in Desktop and user support.
• MAC OS Experience
• Google Workspace Admin Center Experience
• Proficient in Active Directory.
• Networking concepts.
• Must have excellent technical ability.
• Experienced in FIT Solutions minimum skill set.
• Customer oriented, solid business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of performance against goals year over year.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Optional qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc.) P
• Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, 2019
• Cloud Solutions (Azure, AWS)
• MAC OSX
• Certifications: A , Network (recent certification or recertification)
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Some knowledge of IT best practices and ability to use best judgment to service clients’ needs.
• Adaptability in various business cultures and environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, with all levels of internal and external professionals, especially professionals with non-technical understanding.

TRAVEL

• This role requires full onsite presence at the client site to support in-person collaboration and operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting.
• Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees may be exposed to heat, cold, sharp edges, metal racks, high voltage outlets, and normal electrical cabling in the office and closet environments.
