Lead Retail Bicycle Technician

POSITION TITLE: Retail Bicycle Technician

REPORTS TO: Store Manager

The Retail Bicycle Technician is responsible for performing high-quality bike repairs and maintenance for customers, ensuring that bicycles are in safe, optimal working condition. The technician will work in a retail bike shop environment, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of bicycles, from entry-level models to high-performance bikes. In addition to technical skills, the technician will interact with customers, providing excellent service and expert advice. Responsible for taking care of customers looking at shoes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and service all types of repairs
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Knowledge of POS System (training provided)
• Provide superior mechanical service
• Completing all paper and computer invoicing associated with repair work
• Provide feedback to management for department and store improvements
• Keep service area clean and professional looking
• Perform repairs within established time limits
• Assist sales staff with technical questions
• Communicate directly with customers concerning necessary or suggested repairs
• Create work estimates and manage special orders through entire process
• Help service team achieve their performance goals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
