What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Receiver position at Fit2Run The Runner's Super Store?
PURPOSE:
To be fully responsible for the receiving inventory and maintaining an organized stockroom in a retail running store.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defects
- Maintain a monthly flow of doing defects efficiently
- Out of date nutrition, footwear, apparel, accessories, magazines
- Inventory available and ready for Distribution Manager to receive * Credits
- Follow through with corporate and making sure credit memos are accurate * RA's done within a week, using the RA sheet, and sent back to buyers to confirm
- Receive product- send memo's to corporate, ensure the right product is in boxes
- Receive new products, confirm quantities, and send invoices to corporate * Transfer Product
- Make sure to transfer product from store to store, events, and non inventory efficiently * Any issues sent to the Controller and buyers.
- Contact data input and buyers if items are not in the POS system
- Ship out orders
- Retag returned items
- Notify Assistant Manager and/or Buyers for low inventory
- Special Orders:
- Order through buyer
- Receive inventory
- Notify customer * File Retention: Received orders, transfers, RA paperwork retained and filed orderly
- Tagging items correctly
- Keeping desk organized.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
