Job Overview:
Fit2Run, The Runner’s Superstore, is seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Ecommerce Manager to oversee and optimize our e-commerce operations. This role will focus on website functionality, data analysis, reporting, and continuous site optimization to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for running and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Operations & Optimization:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Fit2Run.com’s Shopify Plus website, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
- Partner with outside agency developers to enhance site performance, functionality, and navigation based on customer behavior data.
- Lead A/B testing and CRO initiatives to improve site performance and engagement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues in collaboration with third-party vendors.
- Ensure mobile-first optimization and site speed enhancements to drive conversions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze website traffic, sales performance, and customer behavior metrics using Google Analytics, and other reporting tools.
- Develop custom dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as conversion rates, bounce rates, cart abandonment, and customer lifetime value.
- Leverage data insights to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
- Monitor and report on e-commerce trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor performance to stay ahead in the market.
Ecommerce Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute data-driven e-commerce growth strategies, including SEO, product page enhancements, and merchandising tactics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align website content with promotions, digital ads, and seasonal campaigns.
- Work closely with inventory and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate product availability and seamless customer experiences.
- Stay up to date with emerging e-commerce technologies and trends to recommend innovative improvements.
Platform & Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce partners, such as data transfers between systems.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy policies, and PCI standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management with a focus on website operations and analytics.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Shopify (or similar platforms), heat mapping tools, and A/B testing software.
- Strong understanding of SEO, UX/UI best practices, and digital marketing analytics.
- Strong analytical skills, experience with advanced excel functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with IT, marketing, and fulfillment teams.
- Passion for running, fitness, or an active lifestyle preferred.
- This is an ONSITE position. Candidates outside the area will not be considered unless you indicate a plan to move to the area.
