Summer Program Schedule
Monday, July 7, 2025, to Thursday, July 31, 2025 (Mon - Thurs - 4-week program)
Hours: 8:00 am -2:00 pm
Total Compensation: Not To Exceed (NTE) 100 hours $25/hr Not To Exceed (NTE): $2,500.00. This amount includes all program time as well as all prep and wrap-up required - timesheet submission for payment bi-weekly.
Funding Source: 21st CCLC Grants, City Funding
Applicants must commit to being present for the full duration of the program.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent;
- Experience working with at-risk students and ability to meet the needs of students with diverse learning needs;
- Experience in implementing after-school activities for children;
- Organized, creative, flexible, and reliable;
- Ability to assist in the planning and facilitation of academic enrichment workshops aligned with specific standards/focus in ELA, Mathematics, and Socioemotional Learning;
- Knowledge of current education legislation/regulations preferred;
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders;
- Belief in the commitment to increasing personal growth, both academic and social-emotional, to obtain the highest level of achievement for every student;
- Certified in CPR and First Aid preferred, training will be provided for candidates who don't already possess training;
- Preference will be given to staff members currently employed as a paraprofessional in FPS;
- Applicants must commit to being present for the full duration of the program.
The 21st Century Summer Paraprofessionals will
- Under the direction of the Summer Program Coordinator, support and assist with all summer program activities as needed;
- Complete pre/post-SAYO surveys (Survey of Youth Outcomes) as required by the 21st Century Grant;
- Assist summer coordinator with a snack, transition times, dismissal, and other duties assigned;
- Other duties as assigned.
