4 Hour Cafeteria Worker Fitchburg Schools

Fitchburg Schools Nutrition Services is hiring for a reliable 4 Hour Helper for the Fitchburg School's Nutrition Services Department.

Fitchburg High School. Join our amazing team of "Lunch Ladies" and "Lunch Gentleman".

4 Hours per day, guaranteed 180 days per year. Family friendly hours, only work when school is in session. Shifts generally start between 8:30 and 9:30 depending which school you are assigned to each day.

This position also includes opportunities for additional shifts in the afternoons and/or summer, however, these additional shifts are not a requirement of the position.

This job is ideal for anyone with school aged children looking to earn additional income while their children are in school

Wages

• Starting Wage - $19.46 to $19.96 per hour depending on experience
• Annual cost of living wage increases
• Annual Step Wage increases in addition to cost of living wage increases on one year, two year, and nine year anniversary depending on starting wage.

Duties include, but are not limited to

• Assisting with breakfast and lunch service
• Food preparation
• Food safety and sanitation in a school cafeteria environment.
• Preparing meals according to planned, standardized recipes
• Serving students and staff with a smile during breakfast and lunch periods
• Other responsibilities as listed in job description

Qualifications

• Ability to provide high quality customer service
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to handle food safely and follow health regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.46 - $19.96 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
