Group Fitness Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in exercise physiology and anatomy, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients in their fitness journeys. As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead group classes, provide personalized training sessions, and promote a healthy lifestyle within our community.

Duties

• Conduct engaging group fitness classes, including boxing, strength training, and other formats as needed.
• Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and motivation among clients.
• Promote health club services and fitness programs to drive membership sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness area and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to fitness training.
• Experience in fitness sales is a plus.
• Proficiency in leading group fitness classes and motivating clientele.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• A passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
• Certification from a recognized fitness organization is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
