Fitness Connection is now hiring for a Sales Manager position. The Sales Manager provides daily, weekly, and monthly direction for our Fitness Consultant team, driving new members to change lives through fitness. Sales Managers work hours range from 7 am to 10 pm and will include weekend, evening and early morning hours as the business requires. Some travel may be required for both regional and national meetings, and / or to provide assistance at another location.REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferredFor external hire, minimum of 12 months of similar experience with a proven record of success required, preferably in the fitness industry.For internal promotion, minimum of six months as a high-performing Fitness Consultant with Fitness Connection; must be in good company standing and have a proven record of performanceKnowledge of the Fitness industry as well as the necessary sales acumenKnowledge and skills in staffing with proven record of resultsProficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and able to adapt to new systems easilyValid state driver's license and clean driving record is requiredCriminal background check will be performed as a term of employmentPosition duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, and reachingAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common business-related documents such as financial reports and legal documentsAbility to respond verbally and in writing, to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityAbility to effectively present information to district management and club leadership and to members of the business communityFluent in written and spoken English required, addition of Spanish skills a plusPhysical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
