Are you someone who is passionate about climbing and teaching others? If so, we are looking to hire an experienced Climbing Wall Instructor. In this role you will develop, coordinate, and promote climbing wall programs to help increase both member and non-member revenue. Additionally you will provide education to the staff and members.
Position: Climbing Wall Instructor
Job Type: Part-time
Location: FFC Oak Park
Compensation: $15 per hour or commission (private lessons)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Belay members during family hours
- Certify members to learn how to belay
- Promote climbing wall as a business within the facility
- Selling & Servicing private and small group climbing sessions
- Follow all FFC Climbing Wall safety standards, rules and policies
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years climbing experience
- Certified belayer, spotter and/or top rope climber
- Physical requirements include: walking and standing during the entire shift, climbing stairs, kneeling, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.)
