The Membership Sales Director is responsible for maximizing membership growth and recruitment through successful sales and marketing efforts, developing and maintaining strategic relationships, and building a high-performance sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales action plans
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs
- Implement lead generation strategies (prospecting events, outdoor festivals, etc.)
- Assist in recruiting, coaching, developing and mentoring the sales team
- Conduct needs analysis, present membership benefits, and invite prospects to become members
- Build relationships with prospective members through engagement and relationship marketing strategies
- Maintain proper use of CRM database, contracts, and forms
- Assist in community outreach and power prospect up to 50% self-generated leads
- Network with members and guests to maximize referrals
Requirements:
- Strong management and development skills
- 3 years supervisory/management experience
- 5 years of sales experience
- A college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
