Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Director to oversee and drive the strategy, development, and execution of our website and social media presence. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our digital presence, engaging customers, and driving online sales for our retail business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, website management, and social media trends, with a focus on growing and optimizing the online customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Management & Strategy:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s website, ensuring it is optimized for user experience, functionality, and conversion.
- Work closely with web developers, designers, and content teams to implement design and content changes that drive online sales.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve website traffic, SEO, and overall user engagement.
- Analyze website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure the website reflects the brand’s vision, product offerings, and customer needs.
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the strategy and execution of the brand’s social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
- Develop and manage the social media content calendar, aligning with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends.
- Work closely with creative teams to produce engaging content that aligns with brand identity and resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, using data to optimize content strategy and engagement.
- Stay current on social media trends and best practices, ensuring the brand remains relevant and innovative.
- Digital Marketing Collaboration:
- Partner with digital marketing teams (paid media, email marketing, etc.) to drive cohesive strategies across all online platforms.
- Coordinate with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration of product promotions, sales campaigns, and seasonal marketing across all digital channels.
- Provide strategic direction for influencer marketing, partnerships, and collaborations to expand brand reach.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, including social media managers, content creators, and web developers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, product, and sales) to ensure alignment on brand messaging and objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, keeping the team motivated and on track with goals.
- Customer Engagement & Community Building:
- Develop and execute strategies for engaging with customers online, fostering community, and building brand loyalty.
- Respond to customer inquiries and feedback across digital platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
