This role is located On-Site in the Irvine, CA office and is not remote or hybrid.
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented and personable HR Assistant (Bilingual) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resource Manager and assisting with the day-to-day operations of HR functions. This role will primarily involve answering an HR queue calls, assisting with administrative HR tasks, assisting with various incident reports, and addressing employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer HR Hotline/Queue (50%): Efficiently handle incoming calls and inquiries from employees regarding HR-related matters, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Human Resource Manager with administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, preparing documentation, and organizing files.
- Day-to-Day HR Operations: Support various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations activities.
- Auditing: Assist in auditing HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Deal with employee requests in a friendly and caring manner, providing guidance on HR issues, rules, and regulations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Workday, or a similar HRIS platform
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivator willing to take on new tasks and learn new areas
