Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, ensuring efficient cash handling.
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize basic math skills to handle transactions and manage inventory effectively.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and visually appealing sales environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus.
