Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test equipment to ensure proper setup and functionality.
- Educate clients on equipment use, care, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and work area.
- In-Shop Duties: On certain days, assist with building equipment for the showroom floor, organizing, and cleaning the shop to ensure a professional and tidy environment.
- Safely deliver and professionally install fitness equipment at client locations.
What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with basic mechanical tools and assembly techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks regularly.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of mechanical aptitude, with experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Fitness equipment repair experience is a plus, but not required—training provided as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy fitness equipment (up to 150-175 lbs) safely and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet for scheduling, reporting, and job-related tasks.
- Daily local travel required; must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and effectively plan, organize, and manage a variety of tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
