We are a new and innovative health club seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive, hard-working and experienced cleaning professional to join our team! As an employee, you will be part of a team that upholds high cleaning standards and safety as a top priority.
Responsibilities
- Studio cleaning and prepping, including cleaning of exercise equipment (bikes, weights), floors and mirrors
- Common area cleaning, including bathrooms, lockers, front desk, offices and hallways
- Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools .
- General building maintenance inside and outside
- Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
- Follow housekeeping schedule
- Landscaping
- Use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
- Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture
- Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
- Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
- Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
- Sometimes subject to external weather conditions
- Engage in repair activities when needed
- uphold the cleaning standards set forth in the operating procedure manual
Requirements
- Must have experience as a custodian, janitor or similar role
- Minimum 2 years of experience;
- Excellent cleaning skills - Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
- Task oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work load; and
- Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated, creative and innovative
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
- Must be able to sustain physical work for 8 hours per day including standing, reaching and pulling
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Task oriented excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work load

Salary : $33,000 - $41,000
