JOB OVERVIEW:
The General Manager at YogaSix Idaho is a motivational leader who oversees the studio's operational, financial, and cultural success. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant community, achieving business objectives, and creating an environment where team members and members feel valued and inspired. Key KPIs in the success of this role are centered around membership renewal and retention, and overall revenue growth for two yoga studios in Boise and Garden City.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Acumen:
- Formulate comprehensive business strategies that address membership, retail goals, and overall studio profitability.
- Present recommendations to the franchise owner on 1) membership trends, seasonality, revenue projections, and prospecting 2) operational needs to keep the studio functioning in an A fashion 3) customer service issues 4) ideas for growth
- Oversee month over month financial performance to ensure studios’ financial health.
- Spearhead corporate partnerships and community engagement initiatives to enhance studio visibility and impact.
- Implement studio/staff-wide policies effectively, ensuring alignment with overarching goals.
- Use online platforms and software for customer relations management processes, POS systems for membership sale, billing and collections.
Building Effective Teams:
- Strategically manage team composition, recognizing strengths and areas for improvement, and addressing hiring needs proactively.
- Help to manage staff schedule, membership payments and software needs, operationalize check-in and check out flows, manage the studio relating to all maintenance
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to support the growth and development of inexperienced, entry-level team members.
- Supervise the training and development of staff, focusing on cultivating future leaders within the studio.
- Encourage efficient time management and task prioritization, ensuring operational excellence.
Creative Problem Solving:
- Manage conflicts decisively and constructively, maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Exhibit a solution-focused approach, ensuring effective problem resolution in line with company standards.
- Anticipate and tackle potential issues proactively, demonstrating foresight and strategic thinking.

- Maintain expertise in operational procedures and policies, guiding the team and studio through transitions and updates seamlessly.
- Adapt to and manage changes proactively, ensuring the team remains agile and responsive to new strategies or processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrates strong time management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills, competitive spirit, and confident in generating personal sales as well training Sales Advisors in executing on the sales process.
- Must enjoy coaching, training, developing, and mentoring entry-level team members or those with limited experience.
- Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams, including but not limited to: memberships, retail, and teacher training.
- Highly organized, detailed, goal and solutions-oriented with an “owner’s” mentality.
- Identifies areas of improvement in studio operations and works with the Leadership team to implement system-wide change.
- Takes initiative and uses good judgment when working with member and prospect concerns.
- Has a growth mindset and is always looking to learn, improve and grow personally and professionally.
- Has experience managing entry-level teams in a fast paced, sales-oriented environment.
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

- Relevant Management: 2 years (Required)

COMPENSATION & PERKS:
This position offers a competitive base salary, determined by experience and performance, along with variable compensation tied to sales goal achievement. Additionally, there are opportunities for growth within YogaSix Idaho.
