Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Build applicant sources passive and active candidates by researching and contacting community services, colleges, media, and internet sites; providing organizational information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
- Leverage networking, cold calling, FitzMark ATS and complex internet searches and research.
- Screen potential sales candidates using industry-standard techniques and strategy.
- Introduce new hires to the company and walk them through the hiring and training process.
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Understand job description, culture, environment, and the ideal candidate for each open position.
- Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the management and HR team.
- Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
Experience and Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 3PL or Logistics Industry Experience preferred
- 1 years as Sales Recruiter (full life cycle recruiting and sourcing) or similar HR role
Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Self-starter mentality with strong decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask while simultaneously building relationships
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking systems
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search
