Maintenance Technician/Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and functionality through a variety of maintenance tasks. This job is mainly apartment turn overs and you will occasionally have other tasks in regards to construction and apartment maintenance. Basic knowledge of apartment turn over is a must. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including experience in both residential and commercial painting, carpentry, and light electrical and plumbing work. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Execute residential and commercial painting projects.
• Conduct trim carpentry tasks, including building and restoring structures to ensure quality finishes.
• Collaborate with other team members on construction site activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in residential painting techniques with an understanding of commercial applications.
• Knowing how to repair and finish drywall is a must.
• Knowledge of trim carpentry practices for finishing work.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
• Previous experience with apartment turnovers.
• Previous experience with completing maintenance work orders.
• Have some knowledge with light plumbing and electrical work.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
