What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach & Engagement Promoter position at Five Acres?
Essential Duties
- Responsible for achieving established goals to improve Five Acres' client enrollment growth in their assigned program or division via the development of relationships and outreach with managed care plans, community partners, and community based organization.
- Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, hosting, and attending community engagement events, delivering presentations at health care organizations,
- distributing educational materials, and additional activities/events as directed to increase awareness of Five Acres, increase referrals, and deepen relationships. Must be able to attend public events in both indoor and outdoor venues in all weather conditions.
- In coordination with the program or division leadership, will participate in meetings, engagement calls, and other engagement activities to consistently develop/maintain/deepen relationships with key managed care plans, community partners, and community-based organizations to develop further opportunities for growing referrals and potential new partnerships.
- Works collaboratively with key departments across the agency to improve overall referral growth rates and target percentages through a combination of direct and indirect marketing activities, with the primary responsibility of increasing referrals for assigned program.
- As needed, will develop marketing materials for the program or division that fall under the agency brand guidelines, and will ensure that all marketing or social media accounts are under the authorization of the Office of the CEO.
- Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual referral goals, and growth targets, as established by management.
- Acts as a brand ambassador and encourages community and key partners to participate in hosted events.
- Provides a responsive and well-coordinated referral process for managed care plans, community partners, and community based organizations who refer clients that may be eligible for Five Acres' programs.
- Viewed as a "subject matter expert" (SME) by community and influencers on the health care delivery system and wellness topics.
- Identify partnerships with key sponsorship opportunities and provide justification to determine Five Acres participation.
- Identify and promote Five Acres programs out in the community and create opportunities for employees to participate.
- Responsible for managing their own daily schedule in alignment with department goals and initiatives as assigned by regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience, required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience (e.g., sales, marketing, community engagement), required
- Experience with healthcare industry, preferred.
- Demonstrated exceptional networking and negotiations skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, with dynamic public speaking and presentations skills.
- Self-directed individual that can demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
- Social media experience, preferred.
- Bi-lingual skills in Spanish/English preferred
- Computer skills sufficient to meet production demands of the job and skill in maintaining detailed, accurate and complete records.
- Must have a valid California Driver License and availability of a personal car with proof of insurance which employee is willing to use for all Agency business if needed.
- Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends, if needed.
Compensation Range: $22.50/hr - $30.38/hr
