Key Responsibilities :
- Curate and maintain a balanced, trend-forward product assortment, ensuring it aligns with brand goals and customer demand.
- Lead product development efforts, ensuring selections meet financial goals, quality standards, and price points while staying innovative and competitive.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management to maximize profitability and meet sales objectives. Analyze sales data to make real-time adjustments, including reorders, cancellations, and promotions, ensuring products remain aligned with market trends and financial targets.
- Constantly seeking new trends and identifying white space opportunities for our customer
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and competitors, ensuring a differentiated product offering.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with vendors, managing relationships to secure exclusive products and maintain competitive advantage.
- Mentor and develop assistant and associate buyers, fostering a collaborative, results-driven team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product strategies, align store placements, and achieve merchandising goals.
- Communicate effectively with the DMM and leadership, providing regular updates on product performance and strategic initiatives.
