Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2025 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value-driven, fun-focused retail. Location :
In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and transportation / access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.
Internship Details :
10 weeks : June 2nd- August 8th
Full time – 40 hours / wk
Paid – $17 / hr
Greater Philadelphia location : approximately 3 days per week in our home office, located in Old City, Philadelphia
Hands on, results driven projects. No coffee fetching here!

Position Overview :
As a Summer Intern in the Store Operations Department at Five Below, you will play an integral role in enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our store teams. Your primary focus will be working with our Workforce Planning team to help develop our Activity-Based Labor Model. This will include developing governance around key data elements and documentation on all process changes.
Key Responsibilities :
Review Current Labor Standards
Analyze and evaluate the data sources used to drive labor standards at Five Below.
Develop Process Change Governance
Collaborate with the Store Operations process team to create and implement a formal process for documenting and governing all process changes.
Build a repository for approved process changes to ensure consistency and alignment across stores.
Maintain LaborPro
Assist in the management of the LaborPro system, ensuring that all changes and updates to store processes are reflected and maintained in the system.
Learn how labor management systems support store operations and efficiency.
Time Study Updates
Work with the Workforce Planning team and Store Process team to conduct time studies in stores, measuring labor standards for processes undergoing improvement.
Use data to update labor standards, supporting store productivity and cost management.
Collaborate Across Teams
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, and Logistics to ensure smooth data handoffs and governance processes.
Qualifications :
Must be actively enrolled as a rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad with a background in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Innovation, Strategy / Project Management, Data Analytics or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited
Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail-oriented
Active ability to problem-solve & communicate effectively
Knowledge and passion for our brand
Desired Skills :
Coursework or related experience with process improvement methods & innovation
Strong written communication
