What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Office Medical Assistant position at Five County Foot Care?
Dr. DiPalma has been practicing Podiatry in Athens Georgia for over 20 years, and is looking to hire someone who is looking to learn and grow in their position as a medical assistant/caregiver with the practice. The practice is a great team environment with a group of hardworking individuals and is looking to grow our team and provide the best patient care we possibly can.
Duties will include: patient vitals, patient intake and data entry, x rays, light cleaning/stocking, inventory tracking, as well as assisting Dr. DiPalma as needed. The skills required: excellent customer service/phone skills, proficient technology skills, and patient care. Experience with ModMed is preferred as well as exeperience in scribing.
Hours: the hours for the practice are Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fridays 9am-3pm. The hours for the medical assistants are as follows: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm (as patients are scheduled) and Fridays as needed with notice.
Paid holidays are offered after a 90 probationary period and 40 hours vacation are offered after a year of employment. Pay is weekly, but please note, health insurance is NOT provided by the practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to fine tune skills of a medical assistant/caregiver with experience in electronic medical records. We will train the right person to be efficient in the medical arena and find happiness in their daily caregiving duties.
