The Role
The Director of Franchise & Retail Marketing will coordinate with the corporate marketing team to implement national and global campaigns, ensuring that Five Iron Golf’s brand is effectively integrated into the retail landscape. This role ensures a cohesive approach across all marketing efforts—both globally and locally—by refining and monitoring retail promotions, overseeing in-store displays, and supporting new location openings. Additionally, this role will identify and support areas of need across locations, ensuring alignment with brand initiatives while executing localized promotions that drive engagement and revenue. With a focus on both branded initiatives and market-specific execution, this position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in retail promotions, operational marketing, and strategic brand alignment to drive success across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution for Franchise & Corporate Locations
- Work closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure that national and global marketing initiatives are effectively shared, supported, and implemented across franchise and corporate locations.
- Oversee the creation, distribution, and ongoing refinement of scalable marketing assets, templates, and digital tools that empower locations to execute localized campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.
- Track the usage and effectiveness of marketing materials, gathering insights to optimize content, enhance engagement, and ensure alignment with Five Iron Golf’s brand strategy.
- Support the rollout of new marketing programs by equipping locations with the necessary resources, training, and execution guidance.
- Lead marketing efforts for new location openings, ensuring that pre-launch promotions, grand opening activations, and post-launch strategies are successfully executed in collaboration with the corporate team.
- Assist in franchise development marketing, working with the franchise team to create sales collateral and marketing assets that help attract and onboard new franchise partners.
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for franchise owners and retail managers, providing strategic guidance on local advertising, social media, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Support franchisees in launching localized campaigns designed to increase foot traffic, drive retail sales, and grow membership programs.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new franchisees and retail teams to establish marketing best practices, ensuring alignment with brand standards and a successful market entry.
- Manage and prioritize local marketing requests from franchisees and corporate teams, maintaining brand consistency while adapting to market-specific needs.
- Support the execution of retail promotions, seasonal campaigns, and community engagement strategies in collaboration with corporate and store-level teams.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of local campaigns, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize ROI and customer engagement.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to execute paid media strategies and improve local SEO for both franchise and corporate locations.
- Regularly present marketing performance updates to senior leadership and franchise advisory councils, using data to inform future strategies and improvements.
- Partner with corporate marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure local marketing strategies align seamlessly with Five Iron Golf’s national and global brand initiatives.
- Work with the product team to enhance the customer experience across digital and in-store touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand presence.
- Support partnership activations and sponsorships to amplify marketing efforts across franchise and retail locations.
- 7 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-location marketing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, franchise).
- Experience in a franchise business is highly preferred, especially in a role supporting franchisee marketing efforts.
- Proven experience managing local marketing campaigns and supporting franchise or retail teams, ensuring brand consistency across locations.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including CRM, social media, paid media, and local SEO.
- Track record of successfully executing store-opening campaigns, localized promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, experience leveraging performance metrics to optimize marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
