Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to support our pediatric dentists in delivering top-quality care. The ideal candidate will split their time between our Lake Mary and Winter Park locations, providing a positive, patient-focused experience for every family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring comfort and care for our young patients.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Capture and develop dental x-rays.
- Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records, familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus but not required.
- Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatric dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- X-Ray Certification is required.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is an advantage.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
