Position: Medical Coding, Billing, and Insurance Coordinator
Location: Oral Surgery Practice
Our Oral Surgery office is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Coding, Billing, and Insurance Coordinator for a full-time role. This position offers a collaborative team environment, great benefits, and a chance to grow with our practice. Prior experience in oral surgery is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following certifications and experience are advantageous:
- Certifications: CCA, CPC, CCS
- Life Support: CPR and ACLS
- Software: DSN experience
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Strong team player with the ability to work well with others
- Private practice experience (oral surgery preferred)
- Front office experience with a focus on exceptional customer service
- Professional phone skills and ability to manage patient scheduling
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the practice
- Experience in presenting treatment plans
Essential Experience:
- Handling insurance claims, appeals, and collections
- Dental and medical billing background is highly valued
