Your Role:
As our Orthodontic Assistant, you’ll be the trusted sidekick to our orthodontists, helping with procedures and patient care, from taking X-rays to applying braces and providing education to patients and families. With a focus on quality and compassion, you'll create an atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
What You’ll Do Each Day
- Assist in orthodontic procedures, including X-rays, impressions, and photos.
- Prepare and maintain instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment.
- Support patients: Provide chairside support, particularly for children and anxious patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
- Record and manage patient information, treatment plans, and progress.
- Organize orthodontic supplies and manage the orthodontist’s schedule.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Completion of a dental assistant program (preferred but not required).
- Certification (COA, RDA, CDA) is a plus.
- Previous experience in orthodontics (required).
- Willing to travel between Chandler & Phoenix.
- Friendly, compassionate, and able to make patients feel at ease.
