Senior Accountant
Five Point Dental Specialists is currently seeking a Senior Accountant looking to grow into an Accounting Manager role. Responsibilities include providing assistance with daily accounting functions and taxes while ensuring General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal, state, and local regulations and laws are adhered to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely month-end close cycle
- Review and process accruals
- Payroll accounting
- Prepare monthly revenue entries
- Make required journal entry adjustments
- Complete and review monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Assist with preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Acquisition accounting
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports and provide initial review and analysis of financial statements/reports and variance analysis
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and a CPA
- Experience in Sage Intacct is required
- Clear understanding of standard financial statements
- Must have advanced MS Excel skills including vlookup, pivot table, and advanced formulas
