Opening July 2025, Five Points Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado is looking for a dynamic individual inspired to contribute confidently to the successful launch of a best-in-class hospital. This is a full-time, exempt position offering either five eight hour shifts or four ten hour shifts. growing hospital. During the start-up phase of this hospital, the successful candidate will be expected to train, support and perform technical and administrative responsibilities essential to the successful launch of theFive Points Animal Hospital. Over time, technical responsibilities will reduce and the position will become one of a full-time practice manager.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Implement and train a customer experience program from arrival through departure to ensure a five-star experience
- Facilitate communications (phone, text, email and in-person)
- Interact with veterinary professionals and escalate complex communications when appropriate
- Facilitate and manage appointment and surgical schedules
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (including client communications)
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries / concerns
- Monitor public forums and respond to client reviews accordingly
- Patient Care
- Safe and reliable restraint

- Support appointment related activities (i.e. obtaining histories, TPRs / weights, assisting with medical records)
- Perform standard appointment procedures (i.e. blood draws, vaccinations, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc.)
- Complete hospital admissions (i.e. verifying consent forms, patient information, medications, and fasting status)
- Perform routine technical procedures (venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and fluid therapy administration (including calculation of rates of flow))
- Induce, maintain and monitor patients under sedation and general anesthesia
- Perform therapeutic procedures and complete diagnostics (including laboratory and radiology imaging studies)
- Assist with surgical and dental procedures
- Equipment
- Oversee routine maintenance (as needed) to ensure equipment is in working order
- Oversee repairs vs. replacement for all major medical equipment
- Technology Focus
- Fielding and managing multi-line phone systems
- Fielding and responding to electronic communications
- Utilize cloud-based software application (EzyVet)
- Managing various platforms used in the daily operations when rendering services
- Facilities
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment, adhering to OSHA requirements
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines surrounding controlled substances, and routinely monitor internal controls to ensure safe handling
- Manage any facilitates related concerns in a timely manner (in partnership with your regional director)
- Troubleshoot office machines on an as needed basis (i.e. desktop mobile workstations, telephones, credit card terminals, printers and document scanners)
- Clinical Management
- Oversee and manage inventory (including office supplies, white goods, pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, etc.)
- Participate in team member recruitment
- Develop and manage team member schedules with established protocols and within budgetary guidelines
- Review time cards to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with schedule expectations
- Employee relationship management
- Oversee implementation and daily operations of facilities, equipment and software applications
- Lead annual compliance training programs, including radiation safety
- Financial Management
- Oversee, monitor and complete daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
- Participate in annual budget planning
- Oversee all accounts receivable (cash drawer, petty cash, delivery of deposits)
- Submit deposit reports, purchase receipts, invoices and statements
- Team Member Management
- Develop and deliver monthly team meetings (relationship building activities, updates in clinical medicine, operational excellence, compliance or regulatory standards and training / professional development)
- Oversee team member professional development and performance standards
- Develop, implement and manage annual performance review process
- Develop, implement and manage team member training programs

Success in this Role:
- 2 years of veterinary experience
- 3 years of management experience
- 4 years of customer service experience
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- VTS / LVT / RVT certification (preferred)
- CVPM (preferred)
- A strong passion for helping others
- High emotional intelligence and effective communication skills, especially in receiving and responding to feedback
- Excel in conflict resolution
- Ability to communicate confidently and compassionately with veterinary professionals across different roles

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
