Customer Support Specialist
Located in Grand Island at the Five Points Bank - Broadwell branch, our Customer Support Specialists are experts in banking operations. They provide essential support to bank customers by addressing and resolving problems, handling and reviewing reports of fraud, and assisting in account maintenance. Our specialists also support bank staff by reviewing and completing maintenance, facilitating wire transfers, and handling various operational duties. This position works in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to providing superior customer service and showing why Five Points Bank truly is The Better Bank.
Essential Functions:
· Serve as primary customer contact and provide problem resolution, including answering customer inquiries over phone, chat, and email, and assisting with online banking functions
· Perform various account maintenance, including replacing debit cards, setting up stop payments, and updating customer addresses
· Assist customers with funds transfers, including wires, foreign currency, and Zelle person-to-person payments
· Provide operational support such as reviewing and balancing general ledgers, reviewing incomplete transactions, and processing returned check files
· Comply with and have knowledge of federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
· All other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
- Utilize computer software efficiently
- Word & Excel efficiency
- 10 key pad – operating 10 key on adding machine, computer keyboard, calculator
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping entries
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Problem Solving Skills – The ability to find resolution to problems in an efficient, practical manner
- Time Management – managing one’s own time and the time of others within the group.
- Teamwork –Our project lists often require that people work together to accomplish a common goal.
- Strong organization skills with minimal supervision
- Banking Experience required.
Education/Training:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and 2 years of banking and/or financial-based customer service experience
Status/Standard Schedule: Hourly full time position Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday rotation.

Pay: $18.22 - $19.38 per hour
