Position Overview

The Medical Assistant must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect. The MA must be able to work in a patient focused, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for entering patient data in EPIC
• Notifying RN and/or Provider of important patient information
• Preparing patient rooms, stocking supplies, & cleaning
• Assist with exams & procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Degree in healthcare or business field preferred
• Formal Medical Assisting training required
• Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
• Windows-based computer experience required
