Senior Technical Project Manager-Architecture Auditor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee a large-scale infrastructure modernization program. This role focuses on acting as an overall PM/Architecture Auditor, ensuring that architecture designs align with organizational standards, identifying gaps, and driving discussions to resolve them. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams to assess architecture, mitigate risks, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Oversight & Coordination
- Collaborate with On-prem data center infrastructure and AWS teams to review architecture dependencies for major programs such as PROJECT.
- Develop a detailed project plan mapped to PROJECT milestones and coordinate with stakeholders to drive tasks to completion.
- Work directly with identified sub-teams to understand processes, coordinate tasks, and manage dependencies to avoid delays.
Architecture Auditing & Risk Management
- Continuously assess PROJECT application architecture and dependencies to identify potential risks and gaps.
- Conduct reviews of architecture and design documents for resiliency and security considerations, engaging with platform teams to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Proactively identify, document, and address infrastructure risks by coordinating with the right stakeholders.
Infrastructure Integration Support
- Manage infrastructure aspects of the PROJECT program, ensuring technical requirements and dependencies are accurately addressed.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth coordination of system and platform integrations, including SAP, Salesforce, and AWS services.
Process Management
- Regularly review and manage Jira, ServiceNow Incident/Request queues to ensure task fulfillment processes are completed on time.
- Document infrastructure tasks aligned to phases of the PROJECT program.
- Provide recommendations for design improvements and integration dependencies.
Documentation & Transition Support
- Assist in creating Transition to Operations (TTO) documentation to ensure smooth handover post-implementation.
- Participate in retrospective sessions to review execution progress and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure modernization programs.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating complex multi-tower planning efforts.
- Strong background in networking, firewall, cloud computing (AWS), cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with key technologies such as VMware, SAN/NAS, Cisco, SAP, and AWS.
- Experience integrating systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Amazon Connect.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
Preferred Skills:
- 15 years of Technical Program Management experience deploying large enterprise business applications. - Previous experience in the energy sector or similar industries. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to convey project updates, issues, and risks to stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical and operational challenges. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate and guide project teams.

The XD team is transitioning their legacy CIS application to modern, cutting-edge platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or Amazon Connect. The successful candidate will focus on reviewing architectures designed by different teams, identifying gaps, ensuring adherence to MOP standards, and driving solution discussions. This role does not involve direct project execution but rather acts as a critical reviewer and advisor throughout the program lifecycle.
