Position Description
The Events Facilitator is responsible for overseeing and assisting with private event rentals taking place at Cox Arboretum MetroPark. This position provides the day-of contact for private event customers and oversees event set-up when needed. This position requires varied hours, primarily evenings and weekends. (Approximately 30 hours a month May through December and 5 to10 hours a month January through April)
Duties/Responsibilities

As assigned, serves as on-site, day-of event contact for private events taking place at Cox Arboretum MetroPark through the facility rental program.
Oversees set-up and clean-up of events when needed.
Develop and maintain positive customer relations by ensuring that the customer requests are handled appropriately.
Serves as the customer representative by communicating with the site leader, custodial staff and/or rangers any issues or problems that need further clarification or handling.
Provides Event Follow-Up written report to the Events Coordinator.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides service to the client, responding to questions or concerns related to their events, offering assistance, and providing information. Lock the building and set the alarm.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A combination of appropriate education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is:
- High School Diploma or GED and up to three months experience working with the public.
- Valid Driver's License that meets Five Rivers MetroParks insurance carrier guidelines.
