Installation and Service Technician

Duties:

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on equipment and systems
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs made
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules

Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience as a service technician
• Proficiency in ammonia refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and their components
• Experience with refrigeration system design and installation
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities
• Previous experience as a mechanic or in property maintenance is a plus

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs ; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Service Technicians are required to be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen.
• Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to consent to and have the ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.
• Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle or other assigned company vehicles
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (ex. heat, cold, rain, and/or snow)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
