We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that all work is performed according to contract specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control measures.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Implement OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Utilize tools such as Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including Heavy Job, HeavyBid, and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with contract administration and construction estimating processes.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards is essential.
- Proficiency in using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus.
- Bilingual a PLUS
