We’re looking for a dedicated and energetic Cafeteria Worker to join our team! As a Cafeteria Worker, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring our cafeteria runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and assembling meals, including salads, sandwiches, and hot dishes, according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Food Service: Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring portion control and presentation standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, accommodating special requests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and serving areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and following health and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, stocking supplies, and informing supervisors of low stock or any issues with equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and support in various kitchen and cafeteria duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, cafeteria, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
