What You’ll Do as a Retail Route Merchandiser:
- Load, deliver, and merchandise a variety of products such as soft drinks, non-carbonated beverages, coffee products, cups, condiments, snacks, fresh food, and sundries to customer locations contracted by Five Star.
- Restock and maintain vending/micro market equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, and perform regular inventory checks.
- Collect cash/coins from vending locations and markets, rotate stock to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) product utilization in coolers, on shelves, coffee racks, and in vending machines.
- Assist management with customer communication regarding new products, services, and promotions.
- Set up merchandise displays and promotional materials to drive sales and engagement.
- Execute company plan-o-grams and promotional campaigns to enhance customer satisfaction.
General Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively and frequently reach, bend, and stoop.
- Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement) and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to consent to a drug screening.
- Ability to adhere to workplace safety policies and guidelines.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Retail Route Driver/Merchandiser to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, St. Rose. In this role, you will be responsible for driving designated routes, delivering products, merchandising, and maintaining inventory at various retail locations. **Key Responsibilities:**
**Route Management:**- Drive designated delivery routes to retail locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during transportation and delivery of products.
- **Product Delivery:**
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Deliver merchandise according to customer specifications and schedules.
**Merchandising:**- Stock and arrange products on shelves, displays, and vending machines in an attractive and organized manner.
- Maintain product quality by checking expiration dates and ensuring freshness.
**Customer Interaction:**- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a route driver, merchandiser, or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with retail environment and merchandising principles is a plus.
- Must be flexible with working hours, including early mornings and weekends if necessary.
