Route and Delivery Driver

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Vending Route Driver & Truck Driver to join our team! This exciting role combines the best of both worlds: servicing vending routes and micro-markets, while making regular deliveries to Nashville on Wednesdays and Fridays. Key Responsibilities:

• Vending Route Driver:
  • Load and deliver a variety of products, including snacks, drinks, and fresh food, to vending machines and micro-markets.
  • Stock and arrange products to maintain an organized and appealing display.
  • Perform basic repairs and adjustments on vending machines as needed.
  • Record inventory, cash, and coin transactions, and handle the cash management process.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, including DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Truck Driver for Nashville Deliveries:
  • Make regular deliveries to Nashville on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Operate a company truck safely, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Maintain delivery logs and handle any issues or customer inquiries during drop-offs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, making sure clients are satisfied and informed about new products or promotions.
• General Duties:
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing water filters, replacing light bulbs, and keeping machines in good working order.
  • Communicate regularly with your supervisor and clients to address any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, following a standard checklist for vehicle upkeep.
  • Handle products with care, ensuring freshness and proper storage, especially for perishable items.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently to complete your route efficiently and on time.
• Great Communicator: Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Problem Solver: Able to think quickly and resolve issues when they arise on the job.
• Physically Fit: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks like loading/unloading products.
• Experienced Driver: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT medical physical and drug screen.
• Team-Oriented: While the role involves a lot of independent work, you’ll also need to collaborate effectively with others to provide the best service possible.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older (DOT requirement).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical physical card (or ability to obtain one).
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and navigate various customer locations.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a company box truck safely.
