Position Information
- Title: Maintenance Technician
- Status: Full-Time
- Work Days: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM; weekend on-call shifts required)
- Pay Range: $22.00 (Hourly)
Responsibilities
- Perform complex and routine maintenance and cleaning on vending machines at customer locations.
- Conduct visual inspections and listen to machines to diagnose malfunctions.
- Dismantle vending machines to access and resolve issues.
- Maintain proper inventory of machine parts on the maintenance truck and in the warehouse.
- When not on service calls, perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring safety while driving company-owned vehicles.
- Establish rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and quality service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with refrigeration systems.
- Prior experience in machine and electrical maintenance for repairs and installations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis, with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
- Frequently lift/move up to 100 lbs, and occasionally lift/move over 100 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement) and possess a valid driver's license.
- Consent to an initial drug screen and pre-employment background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Must be able to drive a company box truck or other assigned vehicles.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
