At Conti Coffee, our service technicians are key to ensuring that vending machines across our locations are operating smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll Do as a Service Technician:
- Perform complex and routine maintenance and cleaning on vending equipment at customer locations.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot machine malfunctions by visually checking and listening to equipment.
- Dismantle vending machines to access and resolve problem areas.
- Maintain an organized inventory of machine parts on your maintenance truck and at the warehouse.
- Assist with other duties when not on service calls, as assigned by the manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring safety standards are met for both yourself and company-owned vehicles.
- Build rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with refrigeration systems.
- Previous experience in machine and electrical maintenance, including repairs and installations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and frequently reach, bend, and stoop. Must also be able to lift and move up to 100 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift over 100 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement) and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Ability to operate a company box truck or other assigned company vehicles.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
