Job Overview:
At Five Star Food Service, we are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join our team as Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates. Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates will be responsible for picking, packing, and delivering food and beverage orders to our Columbus, GA and Dothan, AL branch locations. Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates will handle order fulfillment, product loading, and organization within our warehouse.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs ; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.
- Route Drivers are required to be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass DOT Physical
- Pass a MVR Check
- Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle over an established route.
- Preferred experience in Route Driving
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates:
- Pick, pack, load, and deliver food and beverage items to three different branch locations.
- Safely operate a 26 ft. box truck for deliveries to Columbus, GA and Dothan, AL from la Grange, GA.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols for company-owned vehicles.
- Keep accurate inventory records.
- Receive work orders, pull drink products, and place them in designated tubs for delivery routes.
- Count and load tubs onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper rotation based on freshness dates.
- Keep a clean and organized work area and maintain a fast-paced workflow.

- Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
