1st Shift Dining Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in the food and hospitality industry. The 1st Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of kitchen and staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met consistently.
• Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Assist in menu planning and preparation for banquets and special events.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
• Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
• Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures that enhance service quality.

Skills

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in shift management within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and banquet service.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• Ability to train staff in various roles within the kitchen and front-of-house operations.
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly while maintaining service excellence.
