Position Summary:
The Accounting File Clerk plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial documentation. You will be responsible for organizing, filing, and retrieving accounting-related documents such as deal jackets, invoices, payment records, and vendor files. Responsibilities:
- Sort, file, and maintain physical and digital accounting documents including deal jackets, purchase orders, repair orders, and vendor files
- Assist in preparing documents for scanning and digital storage
- Ensure accurate filing and retrieval of financial records for internal use and audits
- Organize files by date, customer name, stock number, or other relevant identifiers
- Assist accounting staff with administrative tasks such as data entry and basic reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and customer records
- Ensure all filing is current and complete on a daily basis
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
