What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Sales Account Manager position at Five Star Logistics, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
o Generate leads and schedule sales appointment by presenting Five Star services and advising clients on benefits.
o Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, emails, and networking.
o Create effective proposal presentations.
o Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up within the assigned territory in the CRM. Enter information into billing system.
o Resolve payable or receivable issue and communicate with internal accounting and customer base in your territory.
o Track and maintain orders with lanes and carrier pros to ensure efficiencies with handling any accounts payable and accounts receives discrepancies that arise in your territory.

Preferred Education/Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and logistics and/or sales experience
o Prior experience in logistics preferred
o 1 year sales experience in a similar industry
o Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
