Job Summary :

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading, developing, and executing highly targeted marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. This role reports directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing. The role oversees the creation and management of digital campaigns, promotional content, and brand development strategies to ensure the effectiveness of park-level branding and marketing efforts. They will lead and mentor a team of brand managers while ensuring high standards in design, content quality, and data-driven decision-making.

Accountabilities :

  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activites and organize efficiently.
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of Five Star's business activities.
  • Conduct general market research to keep updated of recent trends and competitors movements.
  • Become the organizations agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and clients and build strategic relationships.
  • Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives and comprehensive strategies aligned with company goals to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue across assigned locations.
  • Collaborate with senior executives, sales, and business development teams to align marketing strategies with organizational objectives and market needs.
  • Work with Five Star Digital Agency and creative partners to manage and execute advertising campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and desired outcomes.
  • Analyze target market data and industry trends to identify and recommend advertising strategies that maximize ROI and brand impact.
  • Oversee the marketing invoicing, and resource allocation, ensuring effective management and reporting on performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Brand Managers to foster collaboration, innovation, and alignment across all FSP brands.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of brand messaging and visual representation across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and meet performance targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Make web edits as needed and provide guidance on graphic design projects.
  • Leverage tools like Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design / marketing platforms to enhance productivity and creativity.
  • Skills / Competencies Required :

  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented and good time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies, developments, and practices.
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent / sound judgment.
  • Be easily assessable for after-hour and weekend travel, scheduling, and other needs.
  • Education, Qualifications and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in high level brand and corporate Marketing.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook and graphic design suite software.
  • Strong organizational skills, experience in prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain multiple projects and various deadline.
  • Strong analytical mindset and passion for problem-solving and strong focus on detail and accuracy of work.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing client and corporate needs.
  • Friendly approach and comfortable dealing directly with clients and executive leadership.
  • This roles is 10-15% travel.
