Staff Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our growing manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring accuracy in general ledger and cost accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, exposure to auditing, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, monthly, and year-end accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and financial reports
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support inventory and cost accounting processes
- Analyze variances and trends for manufacturing-related expenses
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and other departments for accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting internal or external audits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
