Warehouse Worker (Part-Time)

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for assisting in the efficient and accurate management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This position is part-time (less than 30 hours per week), paid hourly, and reports to the Warehouse Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspection: Assist in examining incoming shipments to verify accuracy against order documentation and assess for any damage incurred during transit.
• Inventory Storage: Store inventory items in designated locations, ensuring a safe, organized, and accessible environment.
• Inventory Records: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records within the inventory software system, including item quantities, locations, and relevant transactional data.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders based on provided specifications and documentation.
• Shipping and Dispatch: Assist in preparing and shipping orders promptly and efficiently, adhering to carrier requirements and ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all established safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse facility and software, contributing to overall operational efficiency and safety.
