Duties:
- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles, including those with flat tires, mechanical issues, or stuck in snow or mud.
- Drive on public roads, construction sites, and in tight spaces to reach stranded vehicles.
- Perform basic assessments on vehicles to ensure they are safe to transport.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide a solution.
- Manage conflicts and difficult situations in a professional and courteous manner.
- Keep the tow truck and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues.
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair basic vehicle issues.
- Experience with tow trucks and wreckers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
