POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the operational efforts of all Lending e-Services which includes Lending Call Center, Internet Loans and Video Lending. Communicate with members through phone and video in a professional and customer-engaging manner. Responsible for reviewing escalated loans requiring credit committee and/or senior loan management review. Ensures loan staff are delivering professional and efficient service to both staff and members. Assist in developing and modifying policies and procedures, which enhance service delivery and ensure that operations are completed in accordance with established standards and legal requirements. Oversees provision of full range of service and products to members and prospective members. Trains, directs, appraises and supervises staff. Completes required reports and records. Compiles productivity, performance, coaching and quality reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of Lending e-Services.
- Effectively supervises department personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional business relations with members, financial professionals, and government officials.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Required Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union loan products and applicable policies and standards.
Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements involving lending and related functions.
Familiarity with loan promotions and marketing practices.
2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Call Center/e-Services experience preferred.
Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow, as well as attainment of departmental goals.
Good Project management skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
