Sales Manager-West Region

Fives DyAG Corp. is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team based out of our Seattle, WA office. The Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of business dealings with customers; ensuring their satisfaction and communicating all relative information between the customer and Fives DyAG Corp. Voice of the customer to FDC Management and voice of FDC to the customer. Responsible to grow the Seattle office, with a broad focus on Western USA. Should be open to target multiple industry verticals where Industrial Automation and IT applications are key drivers for the customer. The West Region covers WA, CA, OR, NV, UT, CO, ID, MT, and WY.

Responsibilities

• Devise solutions and new approaches to problems presented by customers by developing engineering concepts and presentations
• Apply knowledge of process design to all projects to ensure process is balanced
• May meet with client to define or develop project scope and present proposed solutions
• May write portions of or all the specifications
• Assist in or prepare total cost estimates for proposals
• Keeps current on new technology, new design methods and ideas
• Understand RFI/RFQ requirements and when to apply FEA
• Understand ergonomic needs and devise solutions that will meet standard ergo requirements
• Understand schedule requirements and ensure design meets project schedule or assists in developing schedule based on proposed solution.
• Research purchased parts and coordinate with suppliers for accurate application and design
• Coordinate with internal and external mechanical design teams for concept design during quoting phases and process/job turnover
• Apply knowledge of safety and quality in all designs and assures design meets safety requirements
• Develop cost effective, standardized designs utilizing lessons learned from prior projects
• Produce mechanical drawings and designs
• Eliminate part defect and errors utilizing latest error proofing concepts
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or university, equivalent and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 5 years experience related to industrial automation, Software product design, Cloud Integration, IIOT technologies, SCADA applications, MES technologies in either an engineering, project management, or sales capacity
• Excellent computer skills (i.e., Lotus Notes, MS Office, ACAD, Windows).
• PLC, robot, and/or machine vision related experience in automation controls design, automation retrofit, engineering services and/or training preferred either in a sales or engineering role
• Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$120,000 annually, depending on education and experience. This role is also eligible for commission, bonus, and car allowance.
