General Summary
The Presetter breaks down tooling assemblies after they've been used for production by the customers, and
indexes or replaces used tooling for each assembly per the customers' requirements. They will carefully wash,
breakdown and reassemble, measure, and inspect tooling to the required tolerances. The Presetter will
arrange delivery of assembled tooling to the customers' facilities or point-of-use locations based on
immediate need or predetermined production schedules.

Essential Job Functions
Tasks listed are not meant to be all-encompassing:
- Responsible for routine delivery of tooling to and from the department and/or facility
- Facilitate the cleaning of used tooling
- Operate simple hand tools to recondition tools (i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)
- Infrequently operate machine shop equipment (saws, sanders, sand blasters, and polishers)
- Operate tool measuring devices, hand and computer system gages
- Operate computer equipment to store and/or communicate test results and billing system
- Report and document Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Continuous Improvements
- Make decisions within the limits of general standards or procedures
- Assist the engineering team with completion of plant failure studies
- Report near misses and incidents and cooperate with investigations
- Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards
- Assists with problem-solving on manufacturability problems as they relate to tool setup
